Peace Maker Artists Assn’s ‘Loi Kaba’ To be Performed At Sangeet Natak Academy’s Amrit Yuva Kalotsav 2022-23, Varanasi

The Peace Maker Artists Association, a Shumang Leela group of Manipur, will perform a play titled ‘Loi Kaba’ as part of the Sangeet Natak Academy’s Amrit Yuva Kalotsav 2022-23 at Varanasi on Thursday, i.e. 02 March.
According to the schedule released by the Sangeet Natak Academy, the Shumang Leela will perform on the 4pm slot on 02 March at Mahama Sabhagar, Malviya Mulya Anushilan Kendra, Bararas Hindu Iniversity (BHU), Varanasi.
The Amrit Yuva Kalotsav 2022-23 will feature and showcase art of various recipients of Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Praskar 2020.
Popular Shumang Leela artist of the Peace Maker Artists Association Athokpam Santosh is among the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar awardee 2020. Khangembam Khoni (Manipuri), Okram Jelen Singh (Manipuri), Hajarimayum Roji Devi (Playwriting) and Shaikhom Surchandra Singh (Pung Making, Manipur) have been selected for the award from Manipur.
Along with Athokpam Santosh, the play ‘Loi Kaba’ will feature Laishram Ibotombi, Sorokhaibam Ibohanbi, Naorem Tamphasana, Yumnam Arunkumar, Henary Sarangthem, Chinglennganba Sougrakpam, Ngashepam Robertson, Yumnam Milan, Senjam Deepson and Maibam Roshan.
The play is directed by Salam Muktabali Leima.
