Atleast Seven Students Die and Several others Injured in Khoupum Bus Accident

Noney, 21st December 2022: At least seven girl students were killed and several others were injured in a horrific bus accident on the way to Khoupum today.
The ill-fated accident occurred at Longsai Tubung village, Khoupum sub - Division, Noney District when the steering of the bus failed.
A source said that five students died instantly on the spot while two others died when they were brought to Raj Medicity Hospital. The injured ones are under treatment at the same hospital.
There were two buses on their way to Khoupum Valley on a school excursion. But the bus carrying girl students turned upside down as the steering failed, a witness said.
The students belong to Thambalnu Higher Secondary School of Top Chingtha. And they were on their way to Khoupum valley for the Annual Excursion when the horrifying accident occurred.
