Gujarat: Two IRB Jawans Killed and Two Other Injured in Open Firing

Gujarat, 26th November 2022: In a shocking incident, two jawans were killed and two others sustained injuries when another colleague opened fire in Porbandar in the evening around 6.30 today.


The two deceased have been identified as Havaldar Th. Thoiba Singh of the 3rd IRB and Jiten Singh of the 3rd IRB. They are said to be from Thoubal district.


And two other jawans, L.Suranjit of 3rd IRB (Rfn 15007261) and Kh. Ruhtkanta Singh of 4th IRB(Rfn 410725) sustained injuries in the shocking incident. 


The heartbreaking incident took place when one of their colleagues from

E coy (Adhoc Bn-II) - S.Inaocha Singh of 3rd IRB(Rfn. 05976160), opened fire for some unknown reasons. They all were brought to Gujarat for the Assembly elections the next month. They were stationed at Cyclone Shelter, Tukda Gosa, Porbandar District, Gujarat.
