The ongoing economic blockade by ATSUM and its federating units is to be suspended for the time being
HY News: An agreement was signed between the Government of Manipur and officials of ATSUM, KSO, and ANSAM. The agreement stated that the state government shall release all executive of ATSUM, KSO, and ANSAM unconditionally and the ongoing economic blockade will be suspended for the time being.
The agreement also stated that the draft ADC Bill shall be introduced in the upcoming Winter Assembly session.
It also says that there will be a discussion between the Hill Area Committee (HAC), Manipur Legislative Assembly, and the State Government within five days on the draft Autonomous District Council (ADC) Bill 2021.
