A report by The Verge has stated that Twitter is currently planning to charge $19.99 for the new Twitter Blue subscription. It further states that employees working on the project were told to meet a deadline of 7 November to launch the feature or they will be fired.
Twitter Blue was launched in June last year as the platform's first subscription service which offers "exclusive access to premium features" on monthly subscription basis including a feature to edit tweets.
