Days after sworn in as Maharashtra CM, Eknath Shinde Shinde holds review meeting regarding monsoon situation

On Monday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has expressed satisfaction over the pre-monsoon preparations done by the railways and civic authority.

Shinde, along with Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, held a review meeting yesterday regarding the monsoon situation across the state with civic officials, concerned departments and personnel from the NDRF, Army, Navy, Air Force and Police.

Eknath Shinde was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra on Thursday. Further, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the deputy Chief minister.

Earlier in the day, Fadnavis, a former Maharashtra CM, announced that Shinde will be the new state chief minister. He also said that he will not be part of the government.
