Flag hoisting ceremony of MLA K Ranjit of Sugnu A/C; claims his victory over 8000 votes
Wangoo, February 4- MLA K Ranjit of Sugnu AC claimed that INC will poll more than 8000 votes on the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly Election in Sugnu AC.
He expressed the above statement to the press on a flag hoisting ceremony of INC at Wangoo Tera Mayai Leikai. He represented the constituency for five consecutive terms by winning the election. He said he is contesting the election against the candidate from Wangoo. And claims to poll more votes in Wangoo compared to prior prediction as BJP ticket contenders of AC from Wangoo were being denied the ticket, Wangoo will become the home polling he asserted. He added that the INC flag was hoisted to more than 5000 households in the constituency. In the aftermath of the BJP ticket announcement more INC flags are being hoisted in the BJP supporter household without any hesitation. In about 40/50 houses INC flags are hoisted today. Owing to all these circumstances he will poll more than 8000 votes from his nearest rival candidate in the constituency he asserted.
On today's flag hoisting ceremony Sugnu Assembly Constituency former BJP intending candidate Kh. Iboyaima's election steering committee Secretary Angom Joy along with the voters of 10 households were welcomed to INC garlanding Lenyanphi by MLA Ranjit.
