Kakching, December 31- A Booth Level Meeting of social worker Yengkhom Nilachandra intending candidate of INC for the upcoming 12 Manipur Legislative Assembly Election was held on Saturday at Kakching Mayai Leikai Moirangthem Pareng organized by Yengkhom Nilachandra Steering Committee.

Nilachandra slams the assurance given by PM Modi on the recent legislative election campaign to have brought new development within 15 months of BJP government which could not be done during 15 years of Congress reign. He reflected the pre-poll-related death, killing of a leader within a high-security zone, insufficient distribution of NFSA rice by the BJP-led coalition government.

He said that PM Modi's "One family one job" is an abstract in Manipur. Fundamental rights vested to an individual by the Constitution are now being violated by the BJP government. He further added that in a democratic country a government must try to be in touch with the people and mend the gap of development by hearing the criticism and suggestions of the people and opposition but instead of taking these, the government is arresting those who criticize them. He said that the preamble of the Indian Constitution states India as a Democratic, Socialist, Secular, and Republic in which the secular means freedom in following any faith but the present BJP government is kind of following "One Nation One Religion" theory.

The meeting was attended by Ksh Nipamacha, Y. Gouramadhop, Okram Sobha, Md. Abdul Rashid, Lois former Secretary Ksh Ranjan, Sora Workers Md. Altaj Khan, Md Abdul Salam, and several supporters from Sora, Irengban, Bijoypur, Pallel.
