1st Eagle Eye Table Tennis Tournament 2023 Ends; Thomas Elangbam of Imphal West Lifts Men’s Open Trophy

Thomas Elangbam of Imphal West lifted the 1st Eagle Eye Table Tennis Tournament 2023 in Men’s Open Category and won Rs. 30,500 cash prize.

He won the title against Sidharth Naorem of Imphal East.

The tournament was held in 5 categories from 29th March to 1st April and the following are the winners at the Indoor Hall of Thoubal District Table Tennis Association (TDTTA) from 29th March to 1st April.

In the under-11 category:

Girls- Bretnia Laishram of Thoubal

Boys- RK Sahil of Imphal West

In the under-13 category:

Girls- Khomdram Loyalembi Chanu of Thoubal

Boys- Leitanthem Lamjingba of Thoubal

In the under-15 category:

Girls- Laimujam Bitu Devi of Thoubal

Boys- Leitanthem Lamjingba of Thoubal

In Men's Double: Pair of Maibam Franco and Ningthoujam Colmen of Imphal East

In Men's Open: Thomas Elangbam of Imphal West wins against Sidharth Naorem of Imphal East.

The tournament was organized by The Eagle Eye Table Tennis Club Thoubal under the supervision of the Thoubal District Table Tennis Association participated by 60 participants from various districts of Manipur.

Khangabok AC MLA O. Surjakumar, President of Eagle Eye Table Tennis Club, Thoubal Ningombam Suma, Asstt. Registrar of Manipur Technical University Keisham Biju, Joint Secretary of Manipur Table Tennis Association Loukrakpam Shyam, and Former President of Thoubal District Veteran Table Tennis Association L. Muhendro graced the closing ceremony of the tournament at Thoubal Multipurpose Indoor Stadium.
