Laishram Nirmala, the wife of the Deceased BJP Manipur Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Cell's Convenor Larishram Rameshwor, said during a press conference that she doubted Ayekpam Romila Devi, wife of the main accused - Ayekpam Keshorjit, to have involved in planning the murder of her husband. At this, she has sought the authorities concerned to arrest the main accused's wife on the ground and bring justice to her husband.

Nirmala also drew the attention of authority during a press conference held at her residence at Thoubal Kshetri Leikai. She continued that Romila's claim to the DGP that her husband Ayekpam Keshworjit used arms against Rameshwor in self-defense as the deceased attempted to shoot her husband taking his gun out, is completely baseless and a big lie as photos of Keshworjit taking out the pistol and aiming the gun towards the deceased were clicked on the latter's his mobile handset. And this nullified all the cock and bull stories that Kisworjit's wife is circulating. At this, Nirmala persuaded the authorities concerned to arrest Romila and interrogate her as they doubted her involvement in the murder.

Nirmala further raised questions on why the RTI Activist Keshworjit often visits beneficiaries' residences instead of making them aware of the various information he gathered through print and electronic media.

Romila asked why Kishworjit had not filed any report to the Police when threatened by a person from Agriculture Department?" If yes, She requested to identify the police station and the day of reporting.

Nirmala furthered if Romila had ever accompanied her husband Keshworjit in meeting beneficiaries at Thoubal Kshetri Leikai. Did Romila witness the deceased pointing his gun toward Keshworjit?

L.Open, the deceased's brother, pleaded the authority to interrogate Romila over her possible involvement in the murder.
