Rehab Centre Inuagrated for the first time in Tamenglong District

The Lightening Drugs & Alcohol Drugs De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre was inaugurated on Monday at Duigailong Village, Tamenglong HQs. The Lightening Drugs & Alcohol Drugs De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre is an NGO run under the Ministry of social justice and empowerment.

The Rehabilitation Centre was inaugurated by Dr. Dimonang Gonmei, Pastor, Duigailong Baptist Church, Tamenglong.

At the inaugural function Titus Gangmei, Project Director Rehab centre requested the general public to give moral support to this centre. The Rehab centre is officially open today so any parents, or guardians need their children and elders need Alcohol and drug De-addiction. We have experienced rehab Counsellor and staff, he added.

Rev. Namreikeu Pame, President, ZBCCNEI (Zeliangrong Baptist Churches Council Northeast India) thanks for setting up the Rehabilitation Centre in Tamenglong which is the need of the hour. He assured that the Churches of Tamenglong rui give the fullest support to this Rehab Centre. And he believes this Rehab Centre rui save many youth lives in the days to come.

The inaugural function was attended by Duigailong Village Authority, Youth Club, Tamenglong BAR Association, and church leaders.
