Rally March Against Use of Intoxicants
Kakching, September 19- All Kakching Khunou United Clubs Organization (AKUCO) on Monday organized a mass rally against the use of intoxicants. The rally was flagged off by AKUCO President Mayanglambam Kumarjit and Kakching Khunou Municipal Council Former Chairperson Khumukcham Leima from Kakching Khunou Bazar in the morning and marched throughout Kakching Khunou.

Regarding the rally, AKUCO President Mayanglambam Kumarjit expressed that Kakching Khunou is also deeply impacted by the drug menace in Manipur, and the use of intoxicants already affected the youth population vastly. He said that if this trend goes on continuously then the future of this community will be uncertain. He alarms that though it is late we must rise and fight against this evil to secure the future of Manipuri society and rehabilitate the lives of abusers and intoxicants users. He continued that keeping all this in mind the rally against the use of intoxicants is organized by AKUCO to create awareness among the users and population. He warned that substance abuse and selling of intoxicants within Kakching Khunou will be strictly prohibited by AKUCO.
