Village Authority Renames Karuangmuan as Karuangmuan-Nungtek

With the view to bringing peace and harmony among the various communities around Karuangmuan village, the Village general body has renamed the village as Karuangmuan-Nungtek.
Earlier, on 3rd June 2022, the Karuangmuan village Authority was dissolved following a meeting of all the residents on the ground of terrible dereliction of administrative duty.
On the village authority's dissolution and failure, the village general body unanimously decided on September 9th, 2022, to change the village's name from Karuangmuan to Karuangmuan-Nungtek to bring peace and harmony among the villagers. The old name "Karuangmuan" only served division and conflict among the people.
The following members have been newly and democratically elected to the village (Karuangmuan-Nungtek) authority on September 9th, 2022, during the village general meeting. The members of the New Village Authority are, Kaphunsin, Chairman, Damchuiba, Secretary, Penah Inka, Joint Secretary, Horiangsin Inka, Member, Amon Inka, Member, Atumba Bariam , Member Gaithaorei Bariam, Member, Lanchao Inka , Member, Namthuamboi khumba ,Member, Obed khumba, Member, Landuan khumba,Member, Ranjit Bariam , Member, and Peijok inka- Member.
From this very day onward, the village name will be known as Karuangmuan-Nungtek, and the village administration will be handled by the Chairman, Secretary, and the above-mentioned elected members. Whoever defies the village administration will invite the harsh consequence.
