Youth Congress Leader Popilal Labels BJP Government More Inhuman and Callous Than Hitler; Calls the Use of Police Force to Disassemble Democratic Protest by the Government a Misfortune

Youth Congress Leader Popilal described the BJP Government as more inhuman and callous than Hitler himself during the observation of National Unemployment Day on the 72^nd Birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in front of the Employment Exchange, Lamphel. He also called the use of the Police Force to disassemble a democratic protest by the government a misfortune.

However, a police team came and attempted to disperse the peaceful procession of the crowd. In the meantime, the police team had a heated exchange of words with the members of the Youth Congress.

BJP has spoiled India and Manipur, said Popilal, the Youth Congress leader, in an interaction with our reporter. The lives of the youths in the state are ruined as a large number of youths are affected by drug abuse and unemployment.

The so-called “Agnipath Scheme” is merely ceremonial, Village Defence Force (VDF) introduced during the ruling of Congress is far better and serves more people. And everyone is aware of the questions, being raised about the dilly-dallying of the result of IRB Exams on the Facebook account of the Chief Minister, added the youth leader.

He also said that if any youth happens to comment about the ugly truth of the government, the government will arrest the person in no time, violating the right to speech and right o life of the citizens. He also questioned why was a police team sent to disperse the peaceful procession of the public today.

Speaking further on how the government curtailed the fundamental rights of the citizens in the state, he appealed to the government to work for the welfare of the people. Or else no strong government or any other establishment could stand against the wrath of the people as a whole, added the youth leader.
