Launch Programme of 1st batch of trainees of SIHM Manipur held

Chief Minister N. Biren Singh attend the launch programme of the 1st Batch Trainees of the State Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (SIHM), Manipur at City Convention Centre, Imphal on Friday. The Institute is an initiative of the Department of Tourism, Government of Manipur.

At the function, the Chief Minister N. Biren Singh said “the institute will generate employment to the youths. It will help in achieving the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of atma nirbhar bharat”.

State Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar, State Education Minister Thounaojam Bashanta, Health Minister RK Ranjan were among several dignitaries attened the function.

Virtual interaction of the Chief Minister with trainees of “Industry Linked Training Progremme of 2000 trainees of ITES was also held. It is being sponsored by the department of Information Technology, Government of Manipur.
