The first day of the festival began with the play “Mou Ahum Ningol Ama” by Peace Maker Artistes Association.
A post-play talk was also held at the end of the first day with the audience to discuss the positives and negatives of Shumang Leela, the way the female artists dress, the arrangement of background music, the logical excess in the play, and the need for more emphasis/inputs on moral values. The session was moderated by the Padma Shri Naba Wareppa.
