Mao Imphal Market Inaugurated; Handed Over to the people of Mao
Imphal, 8th April 2022: After long years of uncertainty and hesitation, the BJP led Government inaugurated Mao Imphal, Temporary Market, today at Kabow Leikai Maning in front of DM Science.
Instead of demanding our rights only, we should love our motherland and contribute to the state. Like one knows one’s rights, one should also perform one’s duties. Then only our nation will progress, said Losii Dikho, MLA-Mao Assembly Constituency.
He said the statement at the inauguration of Mao Imphal Temporary Market at Kabow Leikai Maning in front of DM Science.
Losii Dikho- MLA Mao A/C, Th. Kirankumar- DC Imphal West, K. Robindro- MLA Mayang Imphal A/C, Former Secretary MBC, and SP Imphal East graced the function as the guests of Honour.
L. Dikho furthered that Manipur is very small, but she is very fertile and full of resources. If we strive, we shall be self-sufficient and will lack in nothing. Today, with the hard work the people of Mao put through all these years, people in Imphal can avail various resources and other products from Mao, said the MLA of the A/C praising the people of Mao.
He also continued that our state is presently dependent on other states for various food items and vegetables. If we want to be independent, we should increase the number of products produced in the state. And for a self-reliant economy, the state needs to increase the production of agricultural products, the MLA added.
CM on his Twitter account said, "Delighted to share that the temporary Mao Market is now open at North AOC. On this occasion, the women of temporary Mao Market visited and presented me some local products as a token of love."
CM said it is the love and support of people from different walks of life that inspires him to walk the extra mile every single day.
