CWG 2022: Historic gold for India in lawn bowls

The Indian women's fours team of Lovely Choubey, Pinki, Nayanmoni Saikia and Rupa Tirkey scripted history by winning the gold medal in lawn bowls at the Commonwealth Games 2022 on Tuesday.
The Indian team beat South Africa 17-10 in the final to win gold at Victoria Park in Royal Leamington Spa.
The Men's Table Tennis team defeated Singapore 3-1 in the gold medal match to give the country its fifth gold medal.
Weightlifter Vikas Thakur won the silver medal in men's 96-kilogram category. Thakur lifted a total weight of 346 kilograms.
In Athletics, Murali Sreeshankar and Muhammed Anees Yahiya have qualified for the men's long jump final.
