FC Poirou Clinches 2nd Subhas Trophy 2023

FC Poirou defeated Thamlai FC in the final of the 2nd Subhas Trophy 2023 on Friday and clinched Championship Title on Friday.
Eight teams did compete in the 9 A Side Village Level Tournament organized by Sotun Village from 24Th April at Sotun Village Playground, Kamjong district.
The final and the closing ceremony of the tournament was attended by MLA Okram Surjakumar Khangabok Assembly Constituency as the Chief Guest, and Senior Citizen Thanmi Phunglui of the Village as the President. While Md.Hibjur Rahaman , member Sangaiyumpham Zilla Parishad, Councillor Yumnam Ibopishak of Wangjing-Lamding Municipal Council ward no. 3, social worker Huidrom Dwijen from Uyal and social worker Moirangthem Manglemjao from Khangabok attended the final match as the special guests.
The Poirou FC defeated Thamlai FC by 1-0 and won the Champioship Title.
The chief guest, president, special guests, and the prize donor – Laishram Subhas presented the winning trophy and cash prizes to the winners and the runners up team.
