Kim Soo-Hyun Denies Wrongdoing Amid Ongoing Controversy Over Kim Sae-Ron’s Death

Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun has released a new statement denying any form of intimidation or pressure on his former partner, the late actor Kim Sae-ron. In a letter addressing allegations made by Sae-ron’s relatives, Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medallist, clarified that neither the actor nor the agency threatened Sae-ron.

Initially, Soo-hyun’s team denied any romantic involvement between the two. However, they later acknowledged their past relationship, claiming Sae-ron was of age when they began dating—contrary to internet claims that she was 15 and Soo-hyun was 27. The agency also addressed reports of a debt owed by Sae-ron, stating it was settled last year, well before her death.

The controversy intensified after Sae-ron briefly posted a photo with Soo-hyun, hinting at an intimate connection, before deleting it. Critics alleged Soo-hyun had forced Sae-ron to remove the image, a claim the actor has now publicly refuted.
