Manipur Pradesh BJP president A. Sarda Devi along with her party's workers lights candles.
As an appreciable way of renaming Mount Harriet to mount Manipur by the Indian government the newly joined BJP member and former ex MLA Moirang Kendra M. Prithiviraj lighted a candle on his residence at Moirang on 17th October.
In the event, BJP Manipur president A. Sarda Devi, general secretary Premananda, president RK Bimola of BJP Bishnupur district. President L. Premila of Bishnupur Mahila morcha and the supporters of M Prithviraj in the Moirang constituency took part in the candle lighting event.
Reportedly, they held fire touch in hand and Chanted in praise of the Indian prime minister Narendra Modi, Amit shah, and the CM of Manipur N. Biren Singh.
M. Prithiviraj stated that he appreciated PM and his led BJP government for what they had done to the state of Manipur.
A Sarda Devi further announced that BJP stands for the poor and needy and irrespective of caste and creed they would like to bring development to all. There is a huge difference between pre-BJP and post BJP led governments. Ergo to join this BJP led government she requested to nominated a BJP candidate in the Moirang constituency.
