Ningol Lup Charges Women Organization Khangabok (WOK) for Plotting Hostility Among People

Thoubal, October 31, 2021: Ningol Lup Khangabok(Daughters’ Union) charges Women Organization Khangabok (WOK) for false allegations against the BJP Candidate Kh Menjor. Such alleged statements sowed seeds of enmity and hatred among the people, said the Lup. This Lup expressed the statement in a Press Conference held at Khangabok Sorok Wangma while condemning their derogatory act.
“Whatever the secretary of WOK, Mrs. Bino said about the BJP Candidate, Kh. Menjor Mangang is completely baseless and mere presumptions,’’ Laisharam Laxmi, the Secretary of Ningol Lup, said. She further opened that BJP’s intending Candidate Kh. Menjor Mangang was returning home after a political meeting at Khangabok Part-III Makha Leikai that day when some miscreants pelted stones and shot slings.
“The intending Candidate of BJP left the place to prevent any unwanted happening with his followers and supporters. Not any shot was fired nor any stone was pelted from their side. No security forces were also taken with them to the meeting,” the secretary of the Ningol Lup stated. And she urged WOK not to spread propaganda against the intending candidate of BJP.
She further said that no unlikely incident happened that day. And the two women who claimed to be injured in the incident were paid, actors. They simply pretended to have bandaged and anointed betadine ointment on it to look real. The video clip that went viral on Social is proof and everyone has watched it.
She also added that Bino, the Secretary of WOK had planned and instigated the people of Khangabok to boycott Kh. Menjor Mangang in the village by misleading them. And WOK had no rights entitled in the constitution to stop any candidate from contesting an election. Besides, she also warned WOK to clarify the false accusation and disgrace the intending candidate in no time or else the Lup will knock on the court’s door for stringent punishment according to law.
