Google's annual list of top-trending searches is live for the year 2022. Wordle, the web-based word game that is considered the purest pastime in the English-speaking world, has been named Google's most-searched term in 2022. The popular online game Wordle topped the list globally, according to the search giant's annual "Year in Search 2022" report.
On the search chart, the game was followed by India vs. England, Ukraine, and Queen Elizabeth.
The list looks back at the moments that captivated India's interest during the year across a broad range of topics. The search mirrors the mood during the year, the things that made a difference to people’s lives, the things they cared about, the things they wanted to know more about and understand and more.
