Chief Minister launches online ticketing platform of Sangai Festival 2022

Chief Minister N. Biren Singh on Friday launched online ticketing platform of the upcoming Sangai Festival 2022, scheduled to be held from November 21.
Taking to Facebook, the Chief Minister said “to make the entry/exit to Manipur Sangai Festival venues a hassle-free process, I’m happy to launch the online ticketing platform, www.sangaiticket.com at my office today.
“The tickets will be available online as well as at various locations across the state. It’s time to celebrate” he said.
This year, the Sangai Festival will now be celebrated across the state in 13 places, bringing together Manipuri culture, art and traditions to strengthen the socio-economic milieu. The primary celebration will occur at Sangai Ethnic Park in Moirang, where multiple huts representing the tribal groups will be set up.
The ‘Festival’ is named after the State animal, Sangai, the brow-antlered deer found only in Manipur. It started in the year 2010 and has grown over the years into a big platform for Manipur to showcase its rich tradition and culture to the world.
