One killed, one injured as fresh violence erupts in Manipur

One person, injured in bomb attack by suspected Kuki militants at Phougakchao Ikhai of Bishnupur district on Wednesday, and later succumbed in the late evening.

The deceased has been identified as Noacha Longjam (20 years) from Phougakchao Ikhai Awang Leikai. He had injuries on the head and was under observation at Raj Medicity, Imphal.

While in another incident, a village volunteer sustains injuries in an attack by suspected Kuki Militants at Kangvai Maning Heikol, located at the adjoining area of Bishnupur and Churachandpur district.
