Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla chaired a high-level security meeting at Raj Bhavan in Imphal on Tuesday to assess the overall law and order situation in the state, according to an official statement from Raj Bhavan.
The meeting was a follow-up to a recent security review held in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the statement noted.
Chief Secretary P.K. Singh, Security Advisor Kuldiep Singh, DGP Rajiv Singh, and senior officials from the Army, Assam Rifles, BSF, Manipur Police, and CRPF participated in the discussions.
The meeting focused on evaluating the current security challenges in the state and coordinating efforts among various forces to maintain stability.
