12 Women Recognized for Outstanding Contributions Across Various Fields
Imphal, Manipur - Eta Northeast Women's Network hosted the 5th Women of Substance Awards at Classic Grande, honoring 12 remarkable women who have excelled in their respective fields. Additionally, 8 internally displaced persons (IDPs) and 2 organizers were recognized for their exceptional work during the conflict.

Empowering Women, Transforming Lives
Eta Northeast Women's Network, founded in 2019 by Sophia Rajkumari, has grown into a strong network providing resources, advocacy, and solidarity to women facing various challenges. With a focus on action-oriented initiatives, Eta has empowered over 1,500 beneficiaries across Manipur.

In her keynote address, Chairperson Sophia Rajkumari emphasized Eta's commitment to empowering women and promoting positive change.
Eta celebrated the achievements of the awardees and honored the resilience of displaced women.
"We believe that empowering women is essential to creating a more inclusive and equitable society. Through our initiatives, we aim to provide women with the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. Together, we can create a brighter future for all," Rajkumari said.
The event commenced with a captivating dance performance by displaced children residing at the Recent Higher Secondary Relief Camp. Dr. Sapam Ranjan, the chief guest, acknowledged the remarkable contributions of Eta and stressed the importance of collective efforts in restoring lasting peace in Manipur.
The event was graced by MLA Dr. Sapam Ranjan as the chief guest and Ima Nganbi Lourembam as the guest of honor.
