Man Arrested On Molestation Charge Of A Student

A team of Manipur Police Officials on Wednesday arrested a man, who was absconding after a molestation incident of a student, based on the CCTV footage.
The accused is identified as Haobam Ibomcha Singh, 43, from Lalambung Makhong Takhellambam Leikai, Imphal.
In an exclusive interaction with HY News, the student said she was on her way to her tuition center and she saw the accused person glancing at her on her way. But she didn't know that he was following her and suddenly he groopped at her breast taking advantage of the secluded area. The accused was said to be involved in a series of molestation charges before the reported incident. The police in its sue moto charges took up the case immediately after the CCTV footage of molestation went viral.
In the meantime, taking to Facebook, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh said “any person involving in such heinous crime will not be spared”. “Please beware, the state police is swift in responding to these crimes”, the Chief Minister said.
