UNLF Cadre Arrested for Daylight Murder in Moirang Kampu: Manipur Police

Manipur Police on Monday arrested UNLF cadre Thangjam Thoungamba Meitei (26), son of Th. Sunil Meitei from Tiger Camp, Sagolmang in Imphal East.

In a statement, Manipur Police said Thoungamba Meitei is accused of the cold-blooded murder of 19-year-old Laishram Malemnganba Metei from Moirang Kampu, which occurred in broad daylight on February 10, 2025, in Imphal East.

The police conducted the arrest as part of their ongoing investigation into the incident. Further details regarding the case are awaited.
