Manipur CM launches Sangai Festival theme song, inspects on-going preparation works

Manipur CM N Biren Singh launched the Manipur Sangai Festival 2022 official theme song titled “Manipur” at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
Addressing the media on the occasion, CM Singh stated that the Sangai Festival is a beautiful festival, which could be brought up to the international level with publicity. “After a gap of two years, this time, the Sangai Festival is being planned to be organised in a bigger way, with various events taking place at 13 venues across the state,” he added. The theme song is sung by folk singer Mangka Mayanglambam and her team.
On Tuesday, the Chief Minister inspected the on-going preparation works for Sangai Festival 2022 at Ethnic Park, Moirang Khunou, Bishnupur district.
Taking to social media, the Chief Minister said “oversaw the preparations to ensure that visitors and tourists comfortably enjoy the festival with ease of mind, and have the best experience”.
