Manipur Textile Expo 2022 from tomorrow; will have 124 stalls

The 2022 edition of ‘Manipur International Textile Expo’ (MANITEX) is all set to begin from November 5 at Urban Haat, Nilakuthi. The expo will continue till 15th of this month.
The 2022 edition of MANITEX will have 124 stalls, including 10 international stalls and 10 stalls from other states of India.
Textiles, Commerce & Industry minister Nemcha Kipgen on Thursday inspected the venue and stalls, which have been constructed for the upcoming expo. The minister was accompanied by chairman of Manipur Industrial Development Corporation (MANIDCO) Kongkham Robindro Singh during the visit.
The prime objective of the Manipur textile festival is to showcase the products of handlooms, handicrafts, dyeing and printing, power loom, garment, embroidery and costume on larger scale with the participation of different states and countries.
