Meitei Girl Gang Raped In Churachandpur: Zero FIR Filed At Bishnupur Police Station

Women Bishnupur Police Station has filed a Zero FIR against some unknown miscreants in Churachandpur over the complaint of a Meitei rape survivor.
The ill-fated and inhuman incident occurred on 3rd May 2023 when armed Kuki militants and the huge Kuki mob began arsoning Khumujamba Meitei Leikai in Churachandpur. The woman was running away to escape the mob. However, unfortunately, she was caught, and ravished by a gang of Kuki youths.
The victim reported the inhuman incident to Women PS Bishnupur on 9th August. Therein, the Police station filed a Zero FIR under section 376-D/354/120-B/34 IPC and conducted a medical test of the survivor.
Women PS Bishnupur has sent the case to Officer-in-Charge Churachandpur WPS for further investigation.
