1200 Residents Registered Under Ayushman Bharat And E-Shram in Bishnupur

Bishnupur,15th November: As many as 1200 residents from Ward No. 1 to Ward No. 9 of Oinam Constituency were reported to have registered under Ayushman Bharat and E-Shram Card at Oinam Mamang Leikai Community Hall today.
Speaking on the occasion, Kh. Jibon, National Secretary, BJP Kishan Morcha and the intending candidate of Oinam A/C, said, “I have organized the program in view to provide financial help to the people of my constituency in times of severe illness and other health-related issues. I have seen many people under poverty battling terribly with the impacts of ill-health and the related ones as they have no money to spend. So, I am, after consultation with concerned officials, organizing this mass registration program today as I think this would be a kind help to the people.”
Under Ayushman Bharat, members from an economically downtrodden family can avail up to Rupees 5 lakh a year on medical expenditure. While under the E-Shram card, all the unorganized workers registered under the scheme will be given accidental Insurance Coverage under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) for 365 days. The workers will be paid Rs two lakh for accidental death and permanent disability and Rs one lakh for partial disability.
