22 Clubs Appeals to Blacktopped IVR road connecting Bangsibudon to Khangabok
Thoubal, March 24- The Inter village road (IVR) connecting Bangsibudon and Khangabok Lamlong Makha Leikai hasn't been repaired and blacktopped for the last 7,8 years. The road is in a deteriorated condition, and it is said to be connected with National Highway 102, Imphal- Moreh Road.

Different clubs and organizations of the said villages forewarned that they will resort to protest if the concerned department and authorities fails to adhere to their pleas. They said authorities will take responsibility for all the ill consequences of the protests. Regarding the matter a press meet was held on Friday at Khangabok Bangsibudon Mandhop, representing 22 various clubs of Khangabok President of Students Union KDASU Thokchom Kiran Meitei expressed that they pleaded to the concerned department and authorities to repair and blacktopped the road several times but no positive response, commitment, and action is given and shown to them, the unaccountable attitude of the department and the authorities is very unfortunate. He seeks immediate attention from the department and authorities to repair this road and warned that clubs with the general public will resort to protests if no action is taken up within a possible timeline.
