A massive fire mishap occurred at ELORA Hotel, W/No.9 Moreh, Tengnoupal district Manipur on Monday evening. It reportedly broke out from the laundry section located at the terrace of the three-story building at around 3:20 pm.
The Moreh fire service station rushed to the spot on time and doused the fire by 3:50, said a report. There is no report of casualty from that incident but an extensive loss of the hotel's property was witnessed, however the value of the loss is yet to be estimated. The origin of the fire is still unable to trace, said a report.
The damage was not furthered since the Fire tenders from Moreh Fire Service station rushed to the spot and doused the fire. The fire was put under control around 3:50 pm. There was a high chance that the fire could spread further but the timely intervention of the Moreh fire service averted major fire.
