In a very shameful and mannerless incident, a group of students pulled down the building of ACME Higher Secondary School following the non-allocation of extra time and ban of unfair means on the 2nd day of the ongoing HSE Examination under COHSEM.

The barbaric incident occurred on Saturday at ACME Higher Secondary School, Yairipok, after the teachers on examination duty denied unfair means during the examination. Students of Azad Higher Secondary School allegedly pelted concrete stones at the new building of ACME and demolished the building therein, a source from the spot said.

The shameful and insane act of the students injured many students and teachers on duty. The barbaric act also crushed two four-wheelers parked inside the school campus.

The unlikely incident occurred when a group of students frantically pelted stones at the invigilators and the new school building around 1 pm when the exam was almost complete.

The injured ones have been brought to a hospital for medical treatment, a source added.

Meanwhile, Private School Development Council Thoubal has filed a complaint to Yairipok Police Station for immediate action against the culprits. The council has named eight students allegedly involved in the act.
