Absconding Ayaz Khan Arrested in Vehicle Theft Case
Thoubal, 12th May 2022: Teams of CDO Thoubal and a team of Thoubal PS under the supervision of Jogeshchandra Haobijam, IPS, SP Thoubal arrested Ayaz Khan alias AAK (51), the absconding accused in the vehicle theft case from his residence today.
Ayaz Khan, the main accused behind, is the son of (Late) Nazimuddin of Moijing Wangmataba Makha Leikai. The same teams of CDO Thoubal have been looking for him under c/w FIR 90(5)2022 TBL PS u/s 380/411 IPC since yesterday after the accused escaped.
The team also recovered some stolen vehicles parked in his courtyard during the Anti-Vehicle Theft drive. However, Ayaz Khan escaped the police raid. Yet the teams recovered the following stolen vehicles,
1. One Black Swiss 125 without the registration number.
2. One Black KTM RC Bike with a green panel without registration.
3. One Honda Dio (Blue) in Colour with regd. number MN04B6725
4. One partly disassembled Activa (Grey), no registration number.
