CM N. Biren Singh arrived at Imphal in the afternoon today around 12.45 after meeting Home Minister Amit Shah and other important Central leaders including Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, and others on Monday over the invalidation of the Suspension of Operation with KNA and ZRA.

The CM and his team met Amit Shah last night and discussed matters relating to the security requirements in the state, and various developmental and welfare projects in the state.

Meanwhile, a source said that the CM might possibly have had some important meetings with the central leaders over the state’s decision on the withdrawal of Suspension of Operation with KNA and ZRA.

The Chief Minister flew to New Delhi on Monday morning after the leaders at the center called him for an urgent meeting after the state cabinet decided to withdraw the SoO with the insurgent groups based in the hills.

On last Friday, the CM summoned a cabinet meeting and collectively decided to withdraw the SoO between the state and the two insurgent groups based in the hilly regions.

CM N. Biren Singh also attended the Three Day Yoga Mahotsav 2023 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. The three-day Mahotsav is an event to commemorate a 100-day countdown to the International Day of Yoga (IDY).
