Convict Md. Rakibur Rahaman Jailed for 15 years Rigorous Imprisonment

Special Judge (ND&PS), Thoubal, on Monday, convicted Md. Rakibur Rahaman under section 21(c) ND&PS Act in connection to FIR No. 48 (12) 2017 NAB P.S.

The special judge ordered Convict Md. Rakibur Rahaman(34 years), S/o MV Hasamuddin of Moijing Mayai Leikai, PS Thoubal, District Thoubal, Manipur, to undergo rigorous imprisonment of 15 years along with a fine of Rs.1,00,000/-(Rupees one lakh) for committing offense u/s 21 (c) ND&PS Act Special Judge (ND&PS), Thoubal.

The convict was arrested on 1st December 2017 in the afternoon from Thoubal Moijing Lamkhai area. And he was found carrying one kg of suspected brown sugar.
