Crisis over the political upheaval-the main road of Thanga blocked later Unbar

Moirangkhunou November 15 -Crisis over the political upheaval-the junction of the road that connects Keibul Lamjao and the main road was blocked by local supporters of MLA Robindro near Moirangkhunao Market. The incident transpired when the police failed to apprehend N. Mema after the MLA supporter's demand to arrest Mema for her misconduct. N. Mema reportedly insulted and threatened the MLA while he went to empathize with the grief of a family at Takmu Leikai, Keibul Lamjao. Numbers of local supporters of MLA from Moirangkhunou blocked the junction agitating against the police inaction to apprehend N. Mema. Later MLA Robindro arrived and convened his supporters and eventually reopened the road again at 11:00 am. On the other side, N. Mema was absconding from giving her views on the matter. While the media reports said that, MLA Robindro went there to empathize with the dejection spree of a family-but, not with any other political agenda. Unfortunately, N. Mema appeared and threaten the MLA with a baton on her hand say that"she has no fear of penalty and will thrash and kill if he tries to do so" which insult and question the prestige of the MLA. A case was filed with the police. But Mema didn't appear at the Police Station despite being summoned. On hearing the news his raged supporters blocked the road. He further added that he will take this matter to the assembly as the police were not competent enough to take action against Mema who vitiate the image of the MLA. And even question if there exist any separate laws for Keibul Lamjao.
