Hundreds March Street Protest in Salungpham and Samaram

Hundreds of people organized a demonstration in Salungpham demanding non-consideration of Separate Administration for the Kuki Militants, immediate withdrawal of Suspension of Operation (SoO) with the Kuki Militants, and implementation of NRC in Manipur.
The protest rally was jointly organized by UCO, AMAWOVA, and Salungpham Meira Paibis. The rally began from Salungpham Mathak Leikai to Mathak Leikai.
A woman protestor in the rally said the mothers want peace at the earliest possibility. She also said that no one must interfere with the integrity of the state and the central para-military forces must also be deported from the soil of Manipur
The protestors also held placards and shouted to implement NRC, restoration of Peace, deportation of Assam Rifles, and withdrawal of SoO.
While on the other side, a protest rally was also organized by All Samaram Meira Paibi Lup demanding the same charters of demands. They also demanded state forces instead of the central paramilitary forces to be deployed at the war zone areas.
