One Day Training cum Awareness Program on Post Harvesting Management Held in Tengnoupal

A One-Day Training Programme on Post Harvesting Management and an Awareness Program on District Agriculture Schemes were held at Chelep Village Community Hall under Tengnoupal Block in Tengnoupal District on Thursday.

The training cum awareness program under the “Promotion of sustainable organic cultivation for economic enhancement” was held especially for Masouching Farmers Producer Company (MFPC). Ps. Lavid Anal, Subject Matter Specialist (Horticulture), KVK, Chandel, attended the program and elaborated on how ginger, turmeric, and lemon be planted, put to trade profitably, and increase the income of the family.

Speaking on the Training cum Awareness Programme, Kapeshing Seiyao, Field Assistant, DSSS, Masouching Farmers Producer Company said that the awareness cum training program is a part of the undertakings of Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA) to enhance the income generation of Chelep Village and Masouching Farmers Producer Company (MFPC) with the economic assistance from Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM). Besides, the training cum awareness program was held to meet the training requirements of the members of MFPC for better production of organic ginger, turmeric, and lemons added Kapesing Seiyo.
