PRESENTS HANDOUT TO THE WOMAN" PALEM PANTHOU MASAIGOL OLD AGE HOME

11/11/21.THOUBAL- On the auspicious day of Ningol Chakkouba a symbolic event 'Ningol Khudol' was organized by Palem Panthou Masaigol Old Age Home of Wangjing, Thoubal District. National secretary of Dalit Sahitya Academy, Manipur, India Y. Mahendrakumar, Dr. S Kumar Managing Director cum secretary SIMS, and many other notable persons attended the event. Speaking on the event Dr. S Kumar said that why should parents be ill-treated by their child who nourished and nurtured them from blood and make a person? Peace and prosperity can be brought to society with the blessings of the parent if everyone cares and treat their parents properly. Marking the occasion of Ningol Chakkouba he said that handing presents only on the Ningol Chakkouba doesn't serve the true meaning of the occasion, we must understand that the occasion symbolizes the bond of love between a brother and a sister. He further added that the land of Manipur is glorified for games & sports and its art & culture. We must respect the Woman and give our best to empower and uplift their position in society.
