Thoubal CSOs Submit Memorandum to DC; Demands Non-Deployment of Central Paramilitary Forces in the District

Various Civil Society organizations in Thoubal submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Thoubal demanding the non-deployment of central forces anywhere in Thoubal on Tuesday.

After holding a public meeting at Kiyam Babu Bazar, various organizations based in Wangkhem Assembly Constituency Thoubal collectively decided to submit a memorandum of four points to the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister, and the Chief Minister through the Deputy Commissioner.

The demands in the memorandum are,

Non-Deployment of Central Paramilitary Forces at Wangkhem Assembly Constituency,
Deportation of the Central Paramilitary Forces from Manipur,

Immediate Withdrawal of SoO with the Kuki Militants

While on the other side, organizations in Leishangthem also submitted a memorandum to the DC demanding the same to the DC.
