Three PLA Overground workers Arrested from Kakwa Nameirakpam Leikai

A combined team of CDO-TBL and intelligence reps of 16 AR led by O. Wangkhomba Addl. SP (Ops) Thoubal and Inspector K. Nitaranjan Singh OC-CDO-TBL under the supervision of Shri Jogeshchandra Haobijam IPS arrested three OGW of banned PLA an unlawful Organisation from Kakwa Nameirakpam Leikai on Saturday.
The three arrested have been identified as
- Ayekpam Abi Singh @ Rabi (40 yrs), son of A. Ibomcha Singh of Kakwa Nameirakpam Leikai Beni Leirak
- Ayekpam Kumarjit Singh (46 yrs), son of A. Ibomcha Singh of Kakwa Nameirakpam Leikai Beni Leirak, and
- Kongjengbam Abinash Singh @ Ibungo (24 yrs,) s/o K. Inaocha Singh of Lairenjam Awang Leikai Imphal West District.
The team seized one mobile from the possession of Kongjengbam Abinash @ Ibungo, one Chinese hand grenade, one mobile phone from Ayekpam Abi @ Rabi, and one BERETTA 9mm pistol with two Magazines, one Chinese hand grenade, and one mobile phone from Ayekpam Kemarjit Singh.
Further, they revealed that they were working under the command of Ayekpam Dhamen Singh @ Brojen @ Thwanjao S/S Major of the banned PLA, an unlawful Organization, who is the elder brother of Abi @ Rabi and Ayekpam Kumarjit Singh.
The arrested persons mentioned above along with the seized items have been handed over to Singjamei PS for taking further necessary legal action.
