In the rarest of its kind, a younger brother stabbed his own brother to death at Yairipok Santidan Bazar.
The terrifying incident took place around 1:20 pm when Md. Amjad Khan (32 years) stabbed his elder brother Md. Husini Mubarak (37 yrs)
S/o Md. Abdul Hasim @ Ladu of Yairipok Santidan Bazar at the former's residence at Yairipok Santidan Bazar.
Md. Husini Mubarak, the victim of the attack, was immediately brought to the community health center, Yairipok for medical treatment as he sustained a heavy injury at the navel. However, the doctor of the CHC Yairipok declared that he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing medical treatment.
At this, the Andro Police Station has registered a Suo Motu case under FIR No. 04(02)2023 APS u/s 302 IPC for investigation. The deceased has been brought to JNIMS Morgue after proper formalities.
A source said that Amjad Khan, the accused, has surrendered himself to the Porompat Police Station. Another source said that the two brothers had a confrontation earlier today over land disputes.
