Imalongi Numit ‘Manipuri Language Day’ Will Be held on 20th August

As part of the celebration, Maibam Premojit, Aneshwori And Devjani Yumnam will be Honored With Literary Awards

Patriotic Writers Forum has been organizing Imalongi Numit, Manipuri Language Day Celebration. For this year it will be organised on 11:00 am of 20th August at Auditorium of Manipur Press Club, Imphal.

Forum President N. Khamba Luwang and Secretary Rakesh Naorem said “Along with the celebration of Imalongi Numit’, three authors will be honored with literary awards.

Remembering the day of inclusion of Manipuri Language on 8th Scheduled of India in 1992 the Manipuri Language Day will be celebrated. As part of the celebration Forum has been honoring the authors of patriotic works, for this year "Pacha Meetei Literary Award 2022" will be given to the author of "Lupa 100" Maibam Premojit, " Dr Saroj Nalini Arambam Paratt Literary Award 2022" will be given to author of " Nong Ngankhidraba Ahing" Khumanthem Aneshwori and " R Kathing Tangkhul Award 2022" will be given to author of 'Ima" Devjani Yumnam.

As part of the program "Eikhoigi Hojai" authored by KC Mangang will also be published.
