The 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly will resume its 3rd session at the Assembly Hall, Chingmeirong, for eleven days from Tuesday, the 21st of February to the 3rd of March.
As per the provisional calendar, the session will have ten sittings. The first session will have a question and answer session, presentation of Committee Report(s) (if any), Supplementary Demands for Grants 2022-23, and Budget Estimates for 2023-24.
The Second-day session on 22nd February will have a questions and answer session, other business (if any) followed by a discussion for Supplementary Demands for Grants 2022-23, and a discussion and voting for demands for Supplementary Grants 2022-23, etc.
The third day will have the question and answer session, discussion, and voting for demands for grants 2023-24 for eight Government Departments, including the State Legislature and Council of Ministers.
The session is a continuation of the 3rd session held on the 2nd and 3rd of February, 2023. And it will table various governmental bills and work on passing the bills after debate and discussion in the assembly, added an official source.
