Clarification on Misleading of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Cell
Thoubal, March 20- Pradhan Nominee of Khangabok Part III Moirangthem Manglemjao at a press meeting clarified that SO, GRS, Panchayat Secretary, Pradhan and Pradhan Nominee of Khangabok Part III Gram Panchayat, Thoubal CD Block has never misled the team of State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Cell, some naive individuals without proper knowledge about the acts and rules of Panchayat is defaming and alleging the officials and the Gram Panchayat.
Pradhan Nominee Manglemjao clarified the above statement at a press meeting held on Sunday at the office of BNRGSK. He continued that they fully co-operate with the team of Vigilance on their inspection conducted at Khangabok Part III GP on March 17 and all the work site of the GP was shown to them, and no non-GP work site is shown. He said that some hired-like individuals interfered with the officials' field inquiry and tried to mislead them. A waiting shed which was planned to construct at Khunou Bamol Leirak, Ward No. 6 of the GP was shifted to with the wish of the people and completed construction on Ward No. 1, he said that shifting was done as per Resolution No. 4 of 37th Sitting of the GP held on 04/04/2022, so no wrong work site was shown to the team of Vigilance, he also produced the resolution copy at the press meet.
He continued that the AAP-24 construction of the public pond at Makha Field is also completed on the decided place, and the fund for the construction and works of the Panchayat are released after detailed inspection by the incumbent SO, GRS, Panchayat Secretary, and concern officials. He said that alleging officials and the Panchayat without having any knowledge of the acts and rules of the Panchayat is very uncivil and persuaded them not to repeat such type of activities. He appeal to the people of Khangabok Part III to remain farther from such people and their propaganda and pleaded concern authorities to take up legal actions against them for defamation and false allegations.
Manglemjao also clarified that not two but only one Panchayat Ghar of Khangabok Part III GP is there at PYC Ground of Khangabok Part III Mayai Leikai.
