Education(S) Releases 1264 Applicants for Employment Consideration in the Department under Die-in-Harness Scheme

In continuation and pursuance of the Government vide letter No. 5(4)/6/2021-SE(S) dated 06-01-2023, L. Nandakumar, Director of Education(S), on Wednesday, released the final seniority list of 1264 (one thousand two hundred sixty-four) applicants under the die-in-harness scheme for consideration of appointment in the Department of Education(s), Manipur as per DP OMs issued from time to time.
However, 3 (three) applicants have been removed from the list either due to doubling or already appointed. The details of their reason for removal from the seniority list are enclosed in Annexure II of the Department's website.
Accordingly, it was further notified in respect of 1261 (one thousand two hundred sixty-one) applicants under the die-in-harness scheme into two batches as Annexure-I & II in continuity with their seniority position based on the date of expiry of Government employees in the following manner.
Annexure I includes 1147 applicants covered by OMs issued by the DP prior to the effective date of the OM dated 07-12-2017 (effective from 21-12-2017). While Annexure II contains only 114 applicants covered by OM dated 07/12/2017 (Effective from 21-12-2027) and after.
The notification furthered that in case of the applicants, for whom the details/documents are due/missing in the final seniority list, the said due/missing documents shall be submitted to the Director on or before 09-03-2023 as "LAST CHANCE". And if they fail to submit still, their applications shall be deemed to rejection.
However, the inclusion doesn't entail any right to be appointed as this list is issued to have a consolidated list of applicants who have applied for appointment under the die-in-harness scheme in the Education(S) Department. The appointments shall be considered as per the eligibilities/Criteria prescribed in the relevant OMs issued by the Department of Personnel, Government of Manipur. Also, the applicants who are found to be ineligible as per the relevant OMs and guidelines shall not be appointed under the scheme.
The notification along with the above Annexure-I & II are uploaded to the Department's website www.manipureducation.gov.in for general information.
